Entertainment- So you're not the next American Idol.  But after a few beers at John Harvard's Brew House in Manchester you might think you are.  The pub is holding Open Mic Night to the sounds of the Brian Jarvis Band tonight at 9 p.m.  But do us a favor - keep the Bon Jovi to the proper key.  Please.

Martini and a Movie- Have a drink, see a show.  The Fairfield Theater Company - Stage 1 presents the second installment of the  politically-themed trilogy "A Face in the Crowd" tonight.  The show's free, the martini's not.  Don't forget to tip your bartender.

Dining- The economy stinks, but that doesn't mean you have to eat Ramen noodles.  Yet.  Check out the Marco Polo Restaurant in East Hartford tonight.  All you can eat pasta, salad, and bread for just $5.95.  Carb-er-ific.
