A.C. Petersen Farms started with one milk delivery route in 1914 and expanded into farming, dairy production, and restaurant operations. In 2002, the Petersens retired from the dairy business and West Hartford resident Catherine Denton bought the flagship property on Park Road, where she carries on the Petersen mission of providing high quality food and dairy products to the greater Hartford Community. A.C. Petersen offers 40 flavors of ice cream, sherbet and sorbet.
