Eat, drink, and get a free ride to and from your dining destination, courtesy of a Harlem restaraunt group.

FESS UP:  Enjoy an evening of fine wine and fine food tonight in GlastonburyMax Amore and Broadway Wine and Spirits are showcasing the wines of Fess Parker and a specially crafted menu from executive Chef Edward Burnett. Each course is carefully paired with a different vino. The menu includes a collection of tuna dishes (carpaccio, tartare and sashimi), country-style duck pate, a Colorado lamb rib chop and something called "Chocolate Epiphany" for dessert (gotta like the sound of that!). Dinner is $85 per person.Starts at 6:30 p.m.

TWAIN'S ATTITUDES:  St. Joseph College in West Hartford is commemorating the 100th anniversary of Mark Twain's death tonight (albeit a little early; Twain died on April 21, 1910). The school's Hoffman Auditorium will be the stage for a one-act play called "Mark Twain: Unlearning Racism." The play, created and performed by Cal Pritner, takes on the the tough subject of Twain's racial attitudes, and how they changed over the course of his life. Tickets for the show are free and open to the public. But you do need a ticket. Show is at 7:30 p.m.

GLOBAL GOSPEL:  They're the first South African artists to ever perform at the Academy Awards and they've won an Oscar and a Grammy. Tonight, the Soweto Gospel Choir is bringing their skills to the Garde Arts Center in New London. The 26-member choir was drawn from the best gospel and contemporary talent from churches and communities from Soweto, South Africa. They became an overnight sensation when they sang the Oscar-nominated song "Down to Earth" with John Legend. Tickets are $25-$42.  Show is at 7:30 p.m.
