Big-eyed baby was the luckiest girl inside Grant's Restaurant in West Hartford Tuesday night.

Mario Lopez was holding her in his chiseled arms and then gave her a big kiss on the cheek, drawing sighs from dozens of his other female fans.

"He is the most handsome man I have ever seen in my life," said Allison Mulcahey of Wethersfield.

Many fans first came to know Lopez as A.C. Slater on "Saved By The Bell."

He wowed the public with his dance moves on "Dancing With The Stars" and now you can catch him every weeknight at 7 p.m. on NBC 30 as the host of "Extra."

Fans from all over Connecticut didn't want to miss out on a chance to meet Lopez in person while he was in town.

"I think he looks just as good in person as he does on television, if not better," Gina Scalia of Bristol said.

Cameras kept snapping pictures as Lopez mingled with the crowd, stopping to pose with wide-eyed women and sign autographs as well.

"This is the thrill of my life," said Ellen Cormier of East Hampston, Mass.

77-year-old Cormier tells everyone Lopez is her boyfriend. She stood in awe when he hugged her and posed for a picture.

"Ah, I can't believe it. It's a dream," said Cormier.

Named People Magazine's Hottest Bachelor in June 2008, Lopez was definitely popular with the ladies.

There were a few men in the crowd, including Phil Beers of Rocky Hill.

"Hey it works for me, " Beers said. "If he is going to attract them, I can take advantage of that as well."

Lopez seemed to be overwhelmed with the warm welcome.

"It's a great turnout and there is a lot of nice people," Lopez said. "The whole experience here in Connecticut has been wonderful and we look forward to coming back."
