Two More Days of Tasty Deals

There are two more days for you to have a gourmet experience on a chain restaurant budget.

Connecticut Restaurant Week ends on Oct. 9, and with that goes away prix fixe menus offering specials for $20.09.

At least 50 restaurants from Avon to Norwich are offering deals. Checks out the Connecticut Restaurant Association to plan your last hours of dining on a dime, well 200 dimes, a nickle and four pennies.

Carbone’s, in Hartford, is offering six entrees, including veal marsala, salmon senape and tenderloin tips gorgonzola.

City Steam, in Hartford, has two entrees on the menu: brown sugar brined pork tenderloin and oriental salmon.

Exchange Bar and Grill, in New London, is offering pizza, salad and a bottle of Chianti for $20.09. Yes, a bottle.  

G.W. Tavern, in Washington Depot, has a melange of comfort food favorites, including chicken potpie, meatloaf and pasta.

Spris, in Hartford, gives you a choice of eight entrees, two each from the pizza, pasta, meat or fish categories, and some of the choices come with tiramsu or gelato.

Trumbull Kitchen, Carmen Anthony Steakhouse and several restaurants from Max Restaurant Group are on the list.
