''Sorry swine flu is visiting more countries this summer than you.''

''Let's promise to only gather child-rearing suggestions from our least insane friends and relatives.''

''May you someday die of natural causes rather than an auto-erotic asphyxiation accident staged by a secret society of martial arts assassins.''

Sometimes you care enough to send the very snarkiest of snarky e-cards, and when that is the case, turn to Someecards.com.  The free e-card web site has been around for about a year, and was voted among other accolades, one of Time Magazine's 50 Best Web Sites of 2008.

From occasions like birthdays, anniversaries and holidays to simple ''thinking of you'' messages to flirtatious cards and even ''cries for help,''  each card has a simple cartoon design complete with an amusing, sarcastic message to accompany it.

So with Father's Day coming up, you can send the following message to dear old Dad if it applies: ''I hope this blue-tinted Father's Day card helps make up for the fact that I wasn't a boy.''
