Restaurants open on Christmas Day


 

The chef and owner of Arugula in West Hartford is one of the people keeping a restaurant open on Christmas Eve and serving dinner.

She decided to do it because she thought it would be fun.

Restaurant owners across the state also said it’s a good business decision. It has been a tough year and this could help them recoup some losses.

There was mixed reaction from customers. Some said eating out would be a nice respite from cooking, while others said this time over the holidays is sacred and should be spent at home.
