Huskies Head to the White House

The national champs will meet the president.

When President Obama picked his NCAA bracket this year, he had Duke beating the UConn men, but the Huskies surprised a lot of people and went all the way to the top.

On Monday, that journey takes them to the White House. President Barack Obama wants to meet them.

It’s no secret that the president loves basketball.

He spent his 49th birthday playing with the basketball dream team of Kobe Bryan, LeBron James, Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Alonzo Mourning, Dwayne Wade and more.

Now, the soon-to-be drafted Kemba Walker, along Alex Oriakhi, Roscoe Smith, Jeremy Lamb Shabazz Napier and other members of the team will get to meet the most powerful basketball fan in the country, if not the world.

Whether Obama will invite Walker and team to compete on his exclusive court, we don’t know, but the UConn women did get the chance to play PIG with the President. PIG is a shorter version of the game horse.

We've added the clip below so you can see how that turned out.
