“Maya Up for Another Honor, Has Bobblehead Now”

Minnesota Lynx forward Maya Moore is in line for another honor, which at this point has become about as predictable as the sunrise. In the middle of a fantastic rookie season that has included an All-Star start and helping lead the Lynx to first place in the Western Conference, Moore is still being recognized for her contributions to the college game.

According to the Associated Press, Moore, one of 30 semifinalists announced Tuesday by NCAA officials, has made the first cut for the NCAA's Woman of the Year Award. Ten women from each of the NCAA's three divisions made the list, which will be paired to nine finalists in early September. The winner will be announced Oct. 16.

Perhaps her greatest achievement to date, however, has little to do with personal records or team championships. Based on this video, it could be the Maya Moore bobblehead doll:

Lindsay Whalen is way too excited by all this.
