Ryan Boatright was back on the court Sunday against Notre Dame.
Fresh off their third straight loss, the UConn men will have a different look when they take the floor against Georgetown Wednesday night.
Jim Calhoun has decided to start Ryan Boatright in place of Shabazz Napier at point guard, and Roscoe Smith will replace Alex Oriakhi at power forward.
"Of course it's difficult, but we think it's best for the team," Calhoun told the Hartford Courant about not starting his co-captains. "It's not against anyone, it's a move for us. I expect Shabazz will still play a lot of minutes."
UConn is 14-6 (4-4) in the Big East and coming off losses to Cincinnati, Tennesee and Notre Dame.
Niels Giffey will start in place of DeAndre Daniels as well.
