UConn Men Back in Top 25

At one point early in the season, the Huskies cracked the top 10. Then, after back-to-back losses to open American Athletic Conference play -- to Houston and SMU, no less -- UConn dropped out of the top 25 altogether.

But after a "pace wins the race" slow resurgence in recent weeks, the team again finds itself ranked nationally. This time: 22nd, after a convincing 80-43 victory over Houston.

UConn began the 2013-2014 season ranked 19th, rose as high as ninth after defeating Florida in early December, and then Houston and SMU happened. The Huskies have one six of their last seven to sneak back into the top 25.

The biggest test of the season comes Thursday when the Huskies face seventh-ranked Cincinnati, who beat Louisville last week.
