New England Patriots Coach Unloads Brooklyn Pad

Bill Belichick, the head coach for the New England Patriots, recently sold his townhouse in Park Slope, Brooklyn, of all places. According to the New York Observer, Belichick scored $2.75 million on the sale of his five-bedroom spread.

The Park Slope townhouse, which was originally listed in March, features a double parlor, a library with a fireplace, a large garden, five bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Although the Patriots' coach made a profit on the sale of his Brooklyn crib (Belichick bought it for $2.2 million), the Observer points out that the house served as an alleged love nest for the coach and his mistress Sharon Shenocca who he began seeing after parting ways with his longtime wife in 2006.

The new owners of Belichick's spread scored not only a former love nest, but a townhouse with an ideal Park Slope location. While the interior public listing photos are certainly a bit drab (no sports memorabilia or Tom Brady framed photos present), the home does indeed feature a garden floor one-bedroom apartment that can be rented out. Score!
