Matt Damon is eager to work with old friend Ben Affleck again sometime soon, but it appears wardrobe issues are already getting in the way.

Last month it was learned that Affleck is eager to direct a film about notorious Yankees pitchers Fritz Peterson and Mike Kekich, who in 1973 swapped wives -- not for a night, but actually moved into to each other's homes with the other's  kids and dogs.

Word was that Affleck and Damon would play the leads in the film from a script by "Seinfeld" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm" alum Dave Mandel. Trouble is that Damon -- like Affleck a lifelong Red Sox fan -- isn't emotionally prepared to don a Yankees cap.

"No, no, no..." was Damon's response when MTV's Josh Horowitz produced a Yankees cap for the Sox fan to try on. Soon there was talk of the hat being on fire. Check it out the video.
