It's a good, old-fashioned family reunion, as the entire Cullen family has signed onto "Breaking Dawn."
Summit Entertainment announced today that the previous vampire holdout by Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene had ended -- they will "all return as members of the Cullen Family," according to the press release.
"Breaking Dawn" is slated to be released November 18, 2011. Lutz and Greene had reportedly held out looking for more cash for their efforts in the last film (or films) in the "Twilight" series. They also faced the possibility of being replaced if they couldn't come to a deal with Summit.
Lutz and Greene are getting in the neighborhood of $1.25 million for each of the final movies, according to the Hollywood Reporter. A far cry from either the $4 million or $2 million (depending on who you believe) paydays they were initially seeking and certainly lower than the payday of the uber Cullen Robert Pattinson.
But it does mean a bigger pay for sure from their previous three movies. And the vampire stand-off ended with Twilight fans getting what they want -- the same actors ending their gig intact as Alice and Emmet Cullen.
While the pay dispute was allegedly about the payment of making a second "Breaking Dawn" film, no official decision has been made on that accord. "It's still up in the air," says one Summit source. Director Bill Condon told me this week that they haven't formally decided on making a second movie as well.
That decision will no doubt come down in the near future.
