October is National Fire Safety Month and NBC Connecticut is connecting you to free smoke detectors.
On Saturday, October 14, participating Ace Hardware stores across Connecticut will be giving out 100 free smoke detectors at each of the following locations. Supplies are limited to 100 per store. Smoke detectors will be given out on a first come, first served basis.
