NBC Connecticut Awards a Total of $100,000 to Three Local Non-Profits

NBC Connecticut is proud to award a total of $100,000 in grants to the University of Connecticut Foundation, Charter Oak Cultural Center and the Connecticut Pre-Engineering Program.

The grants will help to implement innovative community programs as part of a newly launched initiative called 21st Century Solutions.

The 21st Century Solutions Grant Challenge was designed to support high-impact, progressive Connecticut programs in the categories of Arts and Media; Civic Engagement; Community Development; Education; Environment; Jobs and Economic Empowerment; and Technology.
