This year's theme for the signature fundraiser event is “Empowered to Change” and proceeds from this event help to support programs in the areas of education, youth development, economic enrichment, workforce development and training and health and wellness.
Urban League of Greater Hartford was created to promote the self-empowerment of individuals in the Connecticut Capital region to achieve educational, occupational and economic equality for themselves and their families.
More than 3,000 individuals and families move closer to self-sufficiency annually as the direct result of our programs and services.
