Great odin's raven!

Funnyman Will Ferrell may be able get the laughs but he can't seem to bring the big bucks to the box office.

The "SNL" alum was rated the No. 1 most overpaid actor in Hollywood after it was estimated that for ever dollar he earned he would return only $3.29 to his studio, according to Forbes magazine.

Ferrell starred in the box office bomb "Land of the Lost," which cost about $100 million in production costs and drew in about $65 million worldwide, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The 2008 "Semi-Pro" drew in  $43 million in box office revenue and "Step Brothers" tallied $128 million.

The list was compiled by examining a list of the top 100 actors considering factors such as cost of production, box office revenue and other sales compared to the stars' salaries. Billy Bob Thornton, Tom Cruise and Jim Carrey made the top 10 most overpaid actors.

Actor Shia LeBeouf made the studio $160 for every dollar he earned. The "Transformers" star was dubbed the most underpaid.

Stay classy, Ferrell.
