No Charges for Nic Cage

"The New Orleans District Attorney has confirmed that no charges of any kind will be pursued against him"

The Big Easy is going easy on Nicolas Cage.

A lawyer for the “Con Air” star told People the New Orleans District Attorney has opted against filing charges against Cage in connection with his April 16 arrest for suspicion of domestic battery, disturbing the peace and public drunkenness.

“We are pleased that the process led to the correct result, despite inaccurate media reports, and that Nick has been cleared and all charges have been dropped," lawyer Harry Rosenberg told the mag. He said the case is now "closed."

Cops had arrested Cage, 47, after the actor allegedly got in a heated argument with his third wife, Alice Kim.

Cops said he also yelled at them while stumbling around intoxicated, Reuters reported.

The financially troubled star was later bailed out of jail by reality star Dog the Bounty Hunter and reportedly attended his son Weston’s wedding with Kim two days after the arrest.
