Rep: Patrick Swayze 'Doing Very Well'

Actor is feeling much better says rep

Patrick Swayze has not suffered a heart attack, contrary to a tabloid report, a rep for the star told Access Hollywood on Wednesday.

In fact, the rep told Access that Patrick, who is battling pancreatic cancer, has been feeling better.

"He's well," the rep said. "He's continuing his treatment and doing very well, actually. Contrary to reports, he did not suffer a heart attack and has even gained a little weight."

Patrick most recently starred in A&E drama "The Beast," which will not return for a second season after drawing about 1.3 million viewers per episode.

The actor announced he was battling cancer in March 2008.
