Charlie Sheen's Jailhouse Christmas Ends

Actor allegedly involved in domestic dispute

Charlie Sheen was reportedly on Colorado's naughty list this year.

The actor spent Christmas in an Aspen, Colo., correctional facility after an alleged scuffle with his wife, cops in the resort town said.

Aspen police spokeswoman Stephanie Dasaro said Sheen was arrested Friday on charges of second-degree assault and menacing, both felonies, along with criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.

A protective order was also issued as mandated by Colorado law in cases of domestic violence, according to CNN.

Sheen was released from the Pitkin County Jail in Aspen, about 200 miles west of Denver, late Friday afternoon, Dasaro said.

According to RadarOnline.com, Sheen was arrested after he fought with his wife, Brooke Mueller, at a house she has been renting for about three months. Cops said the victim, whom they did not name, did not have to be taken to the hospital.

The "Two and a Half Men" star was flew into Colorado to be with his wife, "but things got out of control almost right away," according to RadarOnline.com.

Officers responded to a 911 call at Sheen's home before they arrested the actor, Dasaro said.

Police initially said the 44-year-old actor would be held without bond in the Pitkin County Jail until his first court appearance.

Sheen is set to appear in court Feb. 8, officials said.
