Actress Whoppi Goldberg joins Harry Connick and gifts him the same Diahann Carroll lunch box he had as a child.
"Oh my gosh you didn't," Harry said after Whoppi presented him with the lunchbox.
Harry went on to explain, "When I was a little boy I had a lunch box like this. I grew up in a white neighborhood and all the kids had white superheroes, Batman, Superman and my mom...got me this lunchbox. And it wasn’t until much later that I realized what she saying, what she was telling me was a woman like Diahann Carroll, a woman like Whoopi Goldberg. People who are trendsetters, groundbreakers are super heroes, real super heroes."
Whoppi also discussed her roles on 'The View' as well as Oxygen's 'Strut.'
