“Arrested Development”: John Krasinski to Cameo

Those of you who will be missing Jim Halpert after "The Office" series finale, never fear! John Krasinski will be popping up on your small screen soon enough (if you have Netflix, of course).

Krasinski will appear in the upcoming season of "Arrested Development," E! News confirms. Like all other casting news regarding "AD's" new season, the details behind his role are slim to none (more like none), but we're going to speculate that Emily Blunt's hubby is at the very least going to do a minimum of one side-grinned shrug at the camera.

"The Office" series finale is on Thursday, May 16, which gives you 10 days of Jim Halpert withdrawal before you can watch him on "Arrested Development's" new season, releasing on Netflix on May 26.

EW.com first reported the news of Krasinski's cameo. Other celebs set to appear are, in no particular order: Kristen Wiig, Conan O'Brien, Andy Richter, Ben Stiller, Seth Rogen, Isla Fisher and John Slattery. Phew!
