Bob Saget on Mary-Kate Olsen's Wedding: ‘I Sent a Mazel Tov Text'

"Full House" actor Bob Saget confirmed that his former TV daughter, Mary-Kate Olsen, is married to Olivier Sarkozy during an appearance on NBC's "Today" Monday. "I was not invited, but I'm very happy and I sent a Mazel tov text," said Saget, who has remained friendly with his TV daughter over the years. "I'm very happy. I love her very much. I hope they're happy."

It's unknown if any other "Full House" cast members were invited to the wedding, aside from Mary-Kate's sister, Ashley Olsen. The twins' younger sister, actress Elizabeth Olsen, recently told E! News that her family would be getting together over Thanksgiving weekend. "It's gonna be a family thing," the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" star, 26, said, adding, "I'm really, really excited."

Reps for Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier have not commented on the wedding, which was first reported by The New York Post's Page Six Sunday. According to the newspaper, the actress, 29, wed the French banker, 46, at a private home in New York City Friday. Approximately 50 guestb reportedly enjoyed cocktails in the residence's garden area, followed by dinner inside, and all attendees were required to turn off their cell phones before the event. The couple's wedding was stocked with "bowls and bowls filled with cigarettes, and everyone smoked the whole night," a source told Page Six.

This is the first marriage for Mary-Kate and the second marriage for Olivier, who has two children of with his ex-wife, Charlotte Bernard. The newlyweds began dating in 2012 and got engaged two years later. They currently live together in a $6.25 million townhouse in the city. They have been photographed since the wedding.

While the fashion designer basks in the bliss of being a newlywed, her former "Full House" co-stars are gearing up for the release of Netflix's "Fuller House" in 2016. The series follows widow DJ Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure) as she raises three children with the help of her family and friends. Actresses Andrea Barber and Jodie Sweetin will return as Kimmy Gibbler and Stephanie Tanner, respectively, while cast members Dave Coulier, Lori Loughlin, Bob, John Stamos, Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit will reprise their roles at various points throughout the 13-episode season. The Olsen twins, who alternated playing Michelle Tanner, will not be returning for a cameo appearance.

"Although Ashley and Mary-Kate will not be a part of 'Fuller House,' I know how much 'Full House" has meant to them and they are still very much considered family," executive producer Robert L. Boyett said in a statement in May. "It has been exciting to see how they have built their professional careers, and I support their choice to focus on their fashion brands and various business endeavors. I appreciate their support and good wishes towards 'Fuller House.'" Months of public pleas didn't change the twins' minds. As Lori recently told The Huffington Post, "I don't think they're going to make a cameo. They didn't this season."
