Fresh off of her performance at the MTV Video Music Awards in August, Lady Gaga will be taking the stage again as one of the performers at the first-ever YouTube Music Awards.

The new award show is scheduled to stream live on the Google-owned site on Nov. 3 and will  also feature performances by Arcade Fire and Eminem.

The event will broadcast globally from New York City's Pier 36 with actor Jason Schwartzman playing host and director Spike Jonze as the show's creative director.

True to the nature of the 8-year-old online streaming and video sharing site, the announcement was made via web video.

"You decide who wins," said Schwartzman in the video. "It's all about you, the fans. This is a night for you."

YouTube will announce the nominees in mid-October, according to a statement on their official blog. Fans will then be able to cast their votes to determine which artists--including YouTube-only stars who have not had mainstream success--will come away as victors.
