Leslie Jones Accuses Ritz-Carlton of Racism: ‘They Don't Like Black People'

"Saturday Night Live" star and 2017 BET Awards host Leslie Jones took to social media Monday to slam the Ritz-Carlton in Los Angeles, accusing the hotel of racism.

While Jones did not reveal her specific issue with the hotel, a customer service rep soon responded to Jones on social media.

As of Tuesday, Jones has not explained what happened and it's unknown if the matter with the hotel had been resolved.

The Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles is near the Microsoft Theater, where the BET Awards were held. The hotel's manager, Curtis Kent, told The New York Daily News that staffers are looking into Jones' claims; the Brandman Agency, which represents the hotel chain, declined to comment.

When reached for comment The Ritz-Carlton replied with the following statement, "Diversity and inclusion are part of the fabric of The Ritz-Carlton culture and operations. We remain committed to providing an environment where all feel welcome. While we do not comment publicly about individual guests, we take every guest concern seriously and work quickly to resolve issues."
