“Parks and Recreation” Gives Viewers “One Last Ride”

"Parks and Recreation" wrapped its seven-year run with a star-studded, tear-jerking and time-jumping finale and the question we face now is: What will we do without Leslie Knope?

There will never be another Leslie Knope. Amy Poehler infused so much earnest energy into the role, taking her from unlikeable to admirable.

In the appropriately titled "One Last Ride," Leslie Knope assembles the former Pawnee Parks and Recreation Department to fix a swing. Throughout their quest, the show gives viewers a glimpse into the future lives of the various characters we've come to think of as our friends.

Revelations from Donna's goodbye include the fact she was a member of the '90s R&B group En Vogue.

"Technically, I kicked them out," Donna said.

Donna becomes a successfull real estate agent in Seattle, and even launches an educational nonprofit organization with her husband Joe called "Teach Yo' Self."

Craig got married to Typhoon and Ron was the best man.

“The Parks and Recreation” cast sings “Bye, Bye Li’l Sebastian” in honor of the series finale.

April and Andy's flashforward included a Champion sighting and the returns of Janet Snakehole and Burt Macklin. Andy also convinces his wife to have a baby. Their son Jack was born while "Monster Mash" played.

Jean-Ralphio staged his own death with the help of his sister, Mona Lisa, in hopes of opening a casino.

After taking Tom's Bistro nationwide, Tom's businesses tank.  However, he took his failure — and all those in his past — and channeled them into a successful self-help book, "Failure: An American Success Story."

Garry was elected the mayor of Pawnee, not once, but dozens of times. He also lived to be 100 years old, passing away in his sleep after celebrating his birthday.

"I have had the perfect life...I just want you to know how much I love you," he said surrounded by Gergiches.

Garry's name was misspelled on his tombstone, because of course.

As for Ron, he was a little lost after selling his company to buy into a liquor company, and then selling gold to help his kids. He turned to Leslie for help, and help she did. Leslie pulled some strings and had Ron installed as the superintendent of the national park she made in Pawnee.

An apprehensive Leslie questioned if she was really making the right choice in leaving all of her friends behind. When is the next time they'll all be together?

"What's going to happen between now and then?" Leslie asks Ben.

"A lot," Ben said. "And it's going to be great."

Leslie and Ben are both approached to run for governor of Indiana while attending a dinner party at the home of the Bidens in 2025. They decide to return to Pawnee and consult with their old friends on the decision of who should run and reunite with the whole “Parks and Rec” crew at the department office — including former castmates Ann Perkins (Rashida Jones) and Chris (Rob Lowe).

The "Parks and Rec" cast, along with creator Michael Schur, stopped by "Late Night" on Tuesday to reminisce about their time on the show and revealed pitches they made for their character's storyline finale.
