Don Imus is back in business.

The brash, trash-talking radio show personality has signed on with Fox Business Network and will begin simulcasting his radio program on the channel in October, the network announced today.

"I love Fox," Imus said in a statement. "Who wouldn't want to do this?"

Imus signed a multiyear deal with the network that intends to simulcast "Imus in the Morning" weekdays from 6 to 9 a.m. starting on Oct. 5.

The sharp-tongued radio personality who is known for his caustic tone was fired from radio syndicator CBS Radio and TV partner MSNBC after her referred to the Rutgers University women's basketball team as "nappy-headed hos" on the air in 2007.

For nearly two years, Imus has been broadcast on rural television network RFD-TV. Imus, a member of the National Broadcasters Hall of Fame, began simulcasting on the little-known network six months after he made the controversial remarks.

His move to Fox Business Network had been widely anticipated after he left RFD-TV on Sept. 1.

"We're excited to welcome a renowned broadcaster like Don Imus to the Fox Business team," executive vice president Kevin Magee said.

"His 40 years of on-air experience combined with his superb interviewing skills and capitalist sensibilities will be a great addition to our lineup."
