”Jersey Shore” Heads to Italy for Fourth Season

Mamma Mia! The "Jersey Shore" cast is flying across the Atlantic Ocean to a particular boot-shaped country for their fourth season.

The hit reality television show's producers are reportedly scouting locations in Italy.

"While the stateside 'Jersey Shore' locales have become iconic for our audience... Europe is a fresh spin on a show that continues to reach new heights for us," said MTV production head Chris Linn in a statement. "The cast is headed to the birthplace of the culture they love and live by."

While Snooki and the girls leave the juiceheads behind to scope out Italian stallions, the producers are also reportedly setting up a dinner with cast member Vinnie Guadagnino's Italian relatives, according to TMZ.

Will the Europeans embrace the "Jersey" crew, or will they be offended by the sterotypes they perpetuate? TMZ reported that one Italian-American organization already reacted negatively about the news.

"People used to go to the circus to see the freak show -- that is what this will be," a representative from UNICO, a huge Italian American interest group, told TMZ. "It will not only hurt Italians but all Americans... their outrageous, reprehensible behavior will make us look like buffoons and bimbos."

The season hasn't even begun filming, and there's already drama.
