Danbury Celebrates the Beatles This Weekend

    Danbury will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ arrival in the U.S. this weekend.

    The two-day event will take place at Ives Concert Park on the Western Connecticut State University campus Saturday and Sunday. Doors open at noon and music will continue until 8 p.m. each day.

    This family-friendly music, food and arts festival is celebrating its third year and plan to feature 10 bands both days playing the music of the Beatles. In addition to live music and food, dealers and vendors will be selling Beatles memorabilia.
