“Frozen” fanatics and Broadway buffs all over Connecticut will be happy to hear Idina Menzel will be performing in Connecticut next summer.
The voice behind Elsa in Disney's mega-hit, "Frozen," is scheduled to perform at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville on July 11, according to her website.
“I’ve been so excited to tell you. I’m hitting the road this summer! I can’t wait to see you guys!” Menzel posted on her Facebook page on Monday.
Menzel originated the role of Maureen in "Rent" on Broadway, and won a Tony Award for her performance as Elphaba in "Wicked."
News of her tour caused trouble on her website on Monday.
“You guys crashed my website!” Menzel posted.
