Moe’s Southwest Grill is opening its newest location in West Hartford on May 5, Cinco de Mayo.
The restaurant will celebrate opening day with $5 burritos, free Tshirts, and the chance for two guests to win free burritos for a year!
Guests can enter into the raffle by filling out an entry form at the West Hartford location on opening day, where they have the chance to win one free burrito per week for a year.
Three things Moe’s newbies should know are: the crew will say, ‘Welcome to Moe’s!’ when you walk in the door (don’t be jolted – it’s normal), the most popular burrito is lovingly called the Homewrecker, and Moe’s Famous Queso is famous for a reason, according to a news release from Moe's.
The restaurant is located at 722 North Main St. in the Crossroads Plaza of Bishops Corner.
There will be a pre-grand opening fundraiser from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on May 4, for Conard High School’s Safe Grad Program, which provides a drug and alcohol free post-graduation celebrations.
“Moe’s is a rapidly growing brand with a loyal following across the country and we’re excited to bring Moe’s fresh, flavorful food and family-friendly atmosphere to West Hartford,” owner Matt Rusconi said in a statement. “We’re eager to open our doors and look forward to building long-lasting relationships with our guests and the community.”
