Shoreline Wine Festival Returns in August

The Annual Shoreline Wine Festival will be returning next month for its 10th annual celebration.

The festival will be held on Aug. 13 and 14 at Bishop’s Orchards Farm Market and Winery in Guilford and patrons will be able to taste wine while enjoying the scenery of a farm orchard.

This two-day ticketed event includes a tour of Bishop’s Orchards Winery, the chance to attend seminars led by wine experts and to enjoy live entertainment.

The Shoreline Wine Festival will feature Connecticut Vineyards and Wineries. All wines sampled by the vineyards at the festival will be available for sale that weekend to take home.

Besides beverages, food trucks will be on site. Attendees can purchase items such as tacos, pizza, seafood and cupcakes for an additional charge.

The list of wineries participating in this year’s festival includes Hopkins Vineyard, Sunset Meadow Vineyards, Jonathan Edwards Winery, Jones Winery, DiGrazia Vineyards, Paradise Hills Vineyard, Holmberg Winery, and the host, Bishop’s Orchards Winery.

Tickets are $30 per day for adults or $10 per day for a designated driver. VIP tickets are $60.
