What to Know Before You Go to the Travelers Championship

Headed to the Travelers Championship this year? Here’s what you need to know before hitting the course.

This year's tournament runs June 19-June 25 at the TPC River Highlands in Cromwell. Put 676 Main Street, Cromwell into the GPS to access the main entrance and parking.

There are 156 players expected to attend, including three of the world’s top five-ranked players Rory McIlroy, Jason Day, and Jordan Spieth. Click here for the full list.

Tickets range from $13 to $47 by day, or $145 for a weekly pass. Special upgraded club tickets are also available for an additional cost. Buy your tickets by clicking here.

Regular parking ranges from $8 to $12 in the “Gold Lot,” or Lot B, for the general public. VIP Parking ranges from $18 to $22.

The Gold Lot opens at 6 a.m. and parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Early arrivals will have a short walk to the Main Gate, but later arrivals may have a 10-minute walk to the entrance.

The VIP parking areas also fill on a first-come, first-serve basis. Note that VIP parking pass holders will be directed to the Gold Lot once the VIP lots are full.

There are three admissions gates at Travelers – the Main Gate at the Main Entrance, the 9th Hole Fairway, which is accessible from the VIP Parking Lot or on foot via Golf Club Road, and the 6th Hole Green, which is accessible on foot via Field Road. Gates open at 7 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday, and at 6 a.m. Wednesday through Friday.

There are ADA parking and viewing accommodations available, including a wheelchair accessible shuttle. Parking for those with a valid state permit is available at the Woodside Intermediate School at 30 Woodside Road, Cromwell. For more information, click here.

This is an outdoor event. Remember to dress appropriately for the weather and to pack that sunscreen for sunny days and the raincoat for the wet ones!
