Teen Trapped in Trunk of Crashed Car

6 teenagers were injured in this single car crash in Watertown. One of the victims had to be rescued from the trunk.

Watertown police are investigating an unusual car crash involving six young men. One of them was found trapped in the trunk.

The accident happened around 9 p.m. Friday on Falls Terrace.

According to police, the driver of the car lost control, which caused the car to spin out and hit into a nearby tree. The teen was trapped in the trunk and had to be extricated from the vehicle.

"He was in the trunk of the vehicle, which made it more than the normal accident scene. At which time we called in our detective bureau to investigate it further to make sure there were no criminal reasons for this injured party to be in the trunk of the vehicle," said Watertown Deputy Police Chief Robert Desena.

Police are still investigating what caused the crash. Speed may have been a factor.

The teens are expected to be ok.
