One million bucks! That's what Stamford Police officers and DEA agents say they found Thursday after searching a Stamford apartment allegedly being used to manufacture cocaine.

Along with the million dollar stash, police say they seized 37 kilos of cocaine and four cars, including a 2010 Mercedes E550 and 2008 Porsche Cayenne. Stamford police officials say this is "the largest seizure of cash and one of the largest seizures of drugs in Stamford Police Department history".

Information developed by a DEA task force that included Stamford officers led cops to the apartment on Strawberry Hill Avenue. There they arrested Eduardo Taveres, 30, of Stamford and Victor Marte, 26, of Bronx, NY. Both were charged with possession of narcotics, intent to sell and operating a drug factory. They were held on $5 million dollars bond and were scheduled to go before a judge on Friday.
