Susan Boyle's magical run to super-stardom isn't over just yet.

Boyle took time out of the Britain's Got Talent tour to record the first track on her upcoming album, reports People magazine.

The surprising songstress is working on the album with a familiar face, her former judge on the reality show, Simon Cowell.

"She sounds fantastic on record," says Cowell. "She's so good, the album is not just going to be show tunes. We're going to take our time with this."

Boyle has been treated with kid gloves by record executives so far. After the mounting pressure of the Britain's Got Talent finals caused Boyle to pay the hospital a visit, Sony music is not putting any presser on her. Sony Music says Boyle can walk away from the project whenever she wants.

"There's no pressure on her to do this at all," an insider tells the celebrity magazine.

Boyle only missed a few days of the tour which ended Sunday and is expected to sing for her fans in three U.K. cities over the next three days.
