The votes haven't even been cast yet, let alone tallied, but a large Irish bookmaker has declared Sen. Barack Obama the next President of the United States, and it's putting its money where its mouth is.

Paddy Power is Ireland's largest bookmaking operation and its web site now congratulates the Senator from Illinois for becoming the next president. There's an image of a smiling Obama standing in front of the White House and a moving van unloading his belongings. The company is paying out on bets for Obama––three weeks before the election.

"We're certain Senator Obama will become President Obama so we're paying out over €1,000,000 on him to win the election."
