Investigators have found the crucial black boxes of a Yemenia Airways plane that plunged into the Indian Ocean nearly two months ago and the recovery operation has begun, according to reports.

Flight 626 from Paris to Moroni, the Comoros capital, crashed June 30 off the east coast of Africa, killing 152 people on board. 13-year-old Bahia Bakari was the sole survivor, rescued after eight hours in shark-filled waters holding on to wreckage.

"I looked out the porthole and the plane started to shake," Bahia recalled, NBC's the Grio reported. "They didn't tell us there was going to be a crash. I felt the water around me. I found myself in the ocean. I don't know how it happened, I didn't see my mother."

The flight recorders, key to determining the cause of the crash, were first detected in early July, The Associated Press reported.
