Sasha and Malia Obama started off 2009 with their first day at their new school – on a campus that is no stranger to presidential children.

The Obama girls, ages 7 and 10, began classes on separate campuses at the private Sidwell Friends School on Monday. The school, which is a Quaker academy, is also where Chelsea Clinton attended.
