NBC Connecticut and Radiology Associates of Hartford are hosting a day promoting breast health and education.
On Oct. 24, technicians at RAH will be performing mammograms from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Those without insurance can still have a mammogram, which will be covered by donations from The Charlotte Johnson Hollfelder Foundation from noon to 7 p.m. that day.
In addition to the screenings, Dr. Kristen Zarfos, Co-Director of General Surgery at the Comprehensive Breast Health Center at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center will lead a team of experts to answer questions. Dr. Pupinder Jaswal, a Breast Imaging Specialist with Radiology Associates of Hartford, will answer questions about mammography.
The Day of Health will be held at the Radiology Associates of Hartford location at 31 Sycamore Street in Glastonbury.
