The state’s Public Health Laboratory confirmed three new cases Monday.

The infected residents are from Easton, Fairfield and Norwalk, according to the state Department of Health.

No one who has become sick with this illness in Connecticut has become so sick they require hospitalization. The illness, however, has killed six people in the United States. The newest case is a New York City school official who died over the weekend.
