Glastonbury Man Charged With Kidnapping, Rape

A Glastonbury man has been arrested in connection with the kidnapping and sex assault of a woman in July.
Mark J. Dellert, 24, of East Hampton, surrendered to police from Rocky Hill police and Glastonbury on Wednesday night, police said.
A woman reported that Dellert drove her to the Glastonbury house in which he lived in at the time, forced intercourse upon her there and then refused to bring her home.
Police learned he in Rocky Hill at a relative’s home for a visit. He surrendered and was charged with first-degree sexual assault, fourth-degree sexual assault, and first-degree kidnapping. He was released on a $200,000 bond and is due in court on Feb. 10.
