South Windsor police said four made off with the goods from an Ultra Diamonds jewelry store.

Police responded to an activated burglar alarm at the Evergreen Walk store Saturday around 5:00 a.m.  They discovered glass had been smashed and immediately called in a State Police K-9 team to search the area for suspects.  Nothing was found.

Detectives gathered evidence and reviewed store surveillance video.  It showed four male suspects breaking into the store, smashing display cases and fleeing the scene with an unknown quantity of jewelry.

Police said the suspects got away in a nearby waiting vehicle. No suspect descriptions are available at this time, and police have not released surveillance pictures to the media.

Anyone with information is asked to call South Windsor Police at 860-644-2551 or leave an anonymous tip at 860-648-NABM.
