Psychic Accused of Lies Wants Probation

The “foremost psychic in New England” is looking to get probation over an alleged lie. Cops say she was fibbing when she said rival psychics assaulted her.

Janet Lee, 35, of Norwalk, has applied for accelerated rehabilitation and if she’s accepted and finishes the program, charges that she made false statements and interfered with police would be dropped.

Lee’s run-in with the law started on July 11 when she called police to say a man had beaten her outside her Greenwich office.

The esteemed psychic says she did not see an arrest in her future.

"It all came to me as a big surprise," Lee told the Greenwich Time in October. "I was brutally beaten, and at the E.R., I never thought I would get arrested."

But, Lee told her father that her husband had assaulted her at home, Greenwich police say.

Her lawyer said this is not an admission of guilt.
