People working out at Healthtrax in Bristol Wednesday morning got quite a jolt when an SUV slammed into the building.

The driver hit the gas rather than the break just before slamming into the Clark Avenue gym around 7 a.m., according to sources at the scene.

The driver was not hurt. The gym, however, was.

The SUV did not go through the brick building, but it did do some damage and left behind a gaping home. The car was crated away on a flatbed.
