Adults Injured, Baby Fine in Willimantic Crash

Two adults and a 6-month-old baby girl were struck by an SUV as they crossed a busy intersection in Willimantic on Tuesday morning.

The crash happened about 9:30 a.m. on Main Street at the Frog Bridge, according to police.

The three were transported to Windham Community Memorial Hospital for treatment, according to police.

The adults’ injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The baby was in a stroller and was not hurt, according to police.

The male driver of the SUV was not hurt, according to police. So far, no tickets have been issued. The investigation continues to determine who was at fault.
