The 83rd Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will be marching your way Thursday and Jack Saleeby, 15, of Southbury, will not only be there. He will sing and dance in the finale of the nationally televised parade.

Jack attended Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Training Center in Loch Sheldrake, New York this summer and will join 60 fellow performers from that program.

More than 400 singer-dancers auditioned and applied for the Macy's performance troupe. And the final cast, between the ages of 10 and 18, represents 22 states and three countries.

Students will bring a new twist to the Santa Claus finale, performing in front of the Macy's flagship store on 34th Street.

“We are thrilled to be chosen by Macy's for this exciting new addition to their program!” Stagedoor owner Cindy Samuelson said in a news release. “The preparation, the rehearsals, have been a once in a lifetime experience for these talented kids.”

Stagedoor Manor has a long list of successful alumni including Natalie Portman, Zach Braff, Josh Charles and Robert Downey Jr.

You can watch the parade tomorrow right here on NBC Connecticut. Coverage starts at 9 a.m.
