An anonymous tip led cops to an Enfield motel, where they busted five men and two women who they said connected through craigslist for prostitution.

A anonymous tipster called Enfield police on Monday, letting them know about prostitution and drug activity happening at a Hazard Avenue motel, police said.

The investigation led police to craigslist and they obtained search warrants for two motel rooms, where they busted the group.

Attorneys general, including Richard Blumenthal, have been after the company to crack down red light district. The company dropped the “erotic services” section and replaced it with an “adults” section, where people have to pay to advertise.

Curtis Corbett, 49, of Vernon, Justin Carafano, 32, of Watertown, Mass., Scott Weber, 56, of South Hadley, Mass. and Jeffrey Fennimore, 34, of Ware, Mass. were charged with patronizing a prostitute. Fennimore was also arrested on drug charges.

Krystal Black, 19, of no known address, was charged with prostitution and Whitney Young, 25, of Coventry was charged with prostitution and drug possession.

Daigin Mosby, 28, of Bloomfield, was charged with drug possession and promoting prostitution.
