A 41-year old Branford man was found dead in Quinnipiac Marsh in North Haven Monday night after he failed to return home from hunting waterfowl from a kayak.
The man had gone to the marsh area off Sackett Point Road early Monday afternoon. When he was not home by 7 p.m., someone called the Department of Environmental Protection’s Environmental Conservation Police, according to the DEP.
The DEP released his name on Wednesday. The hunter was David Scarpace. He was hunting alone.
